Series 44
We, BE@RBRICK University Institute of Marine Science, have conducted ecological research on the fantastic marine organism "BASIC", and report the results here. BASIC is a deep-sea creature that lives at a depth of about 1,000m below the surface and emits light throughout its body to attract food. It's been elucidated that the mechanism of luminescence is a chemical reaction of a substance stored in the body known as "Whatever". I remember seeing it on TV so it must be correct. In their natural habitat, BASIC tends to form groups of 8 or 9 and does not like to act alone. Even when they go to the bathroom during breaks, they go with the members of the group. They are afraid that the group talks behind their back when they are not there. I don't know, but it is probably the reason. We hope that our week-long part-time research allowed us to get a glimpse of the mysterious ecology of BASIC. We would like to continue our research next summer and report here again. That is if I get a part-time job at the seaside house.
